CORRECTIONS

Corrections are public, dated, and permanent. When a published record is found to contain an error of fact, the correction is logged here with the record reference, the date, what was wrong, and what it was changed to. The record itself is amended and its record block notes the correction. Nothing is silently edited: the log entry stays even after the record is fixed.

A correction is a change to a stated fact: a figure, a date, a source attribution, a grade rationale. Status changes driven by the world moving (for example, a program ceasing operation) are not corrections; they are recorded in the record's dated status history.

To report an error, use the contact route on the about page and cite the record reference and the source for the correct fact.
